Anorak

ENG: I love wearing trench coats in fall and spring, but I've recently discovered a great alternative to the classic trench coat - the anorak. It is still very classy, but it looks a bit more utilitarian, which makes it easier to pair with casual or sporty clothes. Today however, I wanted to share with you more of a classic look with heeled booties and a black quilted bag. I love the gold details on this anorak - they make it look more chic, and I also appreciate it being waterproof and having a hood (concealed under the collar zipper), which make it great for rainy Oregon weather.

RUS: Я очень люблю носить тренчи осенью и весной, но совсем недавно я открыла для себя достойную альтернативу классическому тренчу - анорак. Он такой же классический, как и тренч, но его легче сочетать с более спортивной одеждой или одеждой в стили кэжуал, поскольку он выглядит более утилитарным. Но сегодня я хотела бы поделиться с вами именно классическим вариантом, с ботильонами и черной стеганой сумкой. Мне очень нравится золотая фурнитура на этом анораке - она придает ему более нарядный, изысканный вид, а еще меня не может не радовать тот факт, что он водоотталкивающий и имеет капюшон (он спрятан под молнией на воротнике) - это то, что нужно для дождливой Орегонской погоды!

ENG: Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve with your friends or family and made a wish at midnight! If your wish was really strong, it will come true this year without a doubt. In Russia we have a saying, "The way you welcome the New Year dictates the way you'll spend it," so everyone tries to dress up and celebrate the new year in a fun atmosphere, to ensure own luck in the next 12 months. As for me, I spent New Year's Eve at home with my love. I honestly could have just worn my pajamas, but I wanted to follow the tradition and chose a more festive outfit. So hopefully, 2014 will be kind to me and will bring me luck! Let's see what I wore that night:

Если ваше желание было очень сильным и искренним, оно обязательно исполнится в новом году! For my makeup, I chose a warm color palette to match the golden tones of the skirt and added some definition to the eyes with a burgundy eyeshadow.

ENG: This is it guys, the holiday season is here! What can be better than a Christmas tree, adorned with a myriad of colorful ornaments and sparkling lights, a bunch of presents carefully wrapped in shiny holiday-themed paper, and heartwarming Christmas songs heard on every corner? Indeed, it's the most wonderful time of the year, when we can all get together with our friends and family and celebrate the holidays in a friendly and cheerful atmosphere. Christmas shopping, of course, is a big part of it, and I can't but admit that it's my guilty pleasure during the holiday season. But who doesn't like shopping, right? :)

RUS: Вот и пришла пора новогодних праздников! Что может быть лучше новогодней елки, украшенной мириадами разноцветных игрушек и сияющих гирлянд, кучи подарков, аккуратно запакованных в блестящую бумагу, и душевных рождественских песен, доносящихся отовсюду? Ведь действительно, это самое прекрасное время года, когда мы можем собраться с родными и друзьями и отметить праздники в радостной и дружелюбной атмосфере. Новогодний шоппинг, конечно же, - это неотъемлемая часть этого сезона, и я не могу не признать, что это мое любимое занятие. А кто не любит шоппинг? :)
