Denim Skirt

ENG: I don't wear skirts that often, but when I do, I prefer tight-fitting ones. This skirt from ASOS is extremely comfortable - it's very stretchy despite it being so fitted. I find denim skirts easy to combine with other pieces of clothing - they are like shorter versions of jeans :) They look especially nice with classic shirts, like this plaid one, and a pair of heels, although I can easily imagine myself wearing sneakers with the same outfit.

RUS: Не скажу, что я часто ношу юбки, но все же когда я это делаю, я отдаю предпочтение узким моделям. Эта джинсовая юбка от ASOS очень удобная - она прилично тянется, несмотря на то, что она такая узкая.  Джинсовые юбки легко сочетаются со всевозможными предметами гардероба - можно сказать что они как джинсы, только короткие :) Они особенно гармонично смотрятся с классичнскими рубашками, как эта клетчатая, и каблуками, хотя я легко могу представить себя в точно таком же наряде, но в кедах вместо ботильонов.

Happy New Year

ENG: Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve with your friends or family and made a wish at midnight! If your wish was really strong, it will come true this year without a doubt. In Russia we have a saying, "The way you welcome the New Year dictates the way you'll spend it," so everyone tries to dress up and celebrate the new year in a fun atmosphere, to ensure own luck in the next 12 months. As for me, I spent New Year's Eve at home with my love. I honestly could have just worn my pajamas, but I wanted to follow the tradition and chose a more festive outfit. So hopefully, 2014 will be kind to me and will bring me luck! Let's see what I wore that night:

RUS: Всем привет! Надеюсь вы отлично встретили Новый Год в кругу близких или друзей и загадали заветное желание в полночь. Если ваше желание было очень сильным и искренним, оно обязательно исполнится в новом году! For my makeup, I chose a warm color palette to match the golden tones of the skirt and added some definition to the eyes with a burgundy eyeshadow.

В макияже я использовала теплую гамму, для гармонии с золотыми акцентами на юбке. Чтобы выделить глаза, я добавила немного бордовых теней в складку века.

Comfy & Warm

ENG: Hello everyone, I just wanted to quickly share with you my "travel" outfit that I wore a couple days ago when we went to Portland. It's nothing special, but it was comfy and warm enough to spend the day in the freezing weather walking around with my friends and shopping. This pair of Timberland sneakers is seriously the most comfortable shoes I own, so I wear them every time when I know I'll have to be on my feet all day.

RUS: Всем привет, я бы хотела поделиться с вами моим "прогулочным" нарядом, который я надевала пару дней назад, когда мы ездили в Портланд. В нем нет ничего особенного, но он был очень удобным и уютным в тот день, так как мы провели большую часть дня на улице в морозную погоду. Эти ботинки от Timberland - самая удобная пара обуви в моей коллекции, так что я их очень люблю и надеваю всегда, когда знаю что нужно будет провести целый день на ногах.

ENG: This is it guys, the holiday season is here! What can be better than a Christmas tree, adorned with a myriad of colorful ornaments and sparkling lights, a bunch of presents carefully wrapped in shiny holiday-themed paper, and heartwarming Christmas songs heard on every corner? Indeed, it's the most wonderful time of the year, when we can all get together with our friends and family and celebrate the holidays in a friendly and cheerful atmosphere. Christmas shopping, of course, is a big part of it, and I can't but admit that it's my guilty pleasure during the holiday season. But who doesn't like shopping, right? :)

RUS: Вот и пришла пора новогодних праздников! Что может быть лучше новогодней елки, украшенной мириадами разноцветных игрушек и сияющих гирлянд, кучи подарков, аккуратно запакованных в блестящую бумагу, и душевных рождественских песен, доносящихся отовсюду? Ведь действительно, это самое прекрасное время года, когда мы можем собраться с родными и друзьями и отметить праздники в радостной и дружелюбной атмосфере. Новогодний шоппинг, конечно же, - это неотъемлемая часть этого сезона, и я не могу не признать, что это мое любимое занятие. А кто не любит шоппинг? :)
